Apparently chairs are optional when coding … and/or one day we can afford chairs.
Dear all of us millions of people who are packing, moving, and putting stuff in storage:
Live doesn’t have to suck. You don’t have to break your back moving heavy boxes. You don’t have to bother your friends and bribe them with pizza and beer to help you move… Let’s face. They don’t want to.
But there’s a better way — Workables.com… More importantly, wouldn’t you like your storage unit to look as organized as this one (sent to us by yet another ecstatic Workables customer)?!?
Cheers,
Mr. Sprocket

Our first experience with Big Door came through Feld Gelt, where Workables’ Co-Founder and CEO — Jonathan Hegranes — was one of the lucky winners to land 30 minutes with Brad Feld. During that 30 minutes, gamification was a big topic of discussion, and we’ve been thinking about complicated ways to bring that experience to our site… Then last week were up in Boulder for Glue Con, and had the opportunity to meet up with Roy and some of the Big Door Team. After that, we decided to start easy, and in less than 5 minutes (nothing more than a short code snippet) the Big Door widget was live on Workables.com. Shortly thereafter, we received a traffic alert from Chartbeat as concurrent users on the site were going crazy… Coincidence? We think not. :)

Sprocket and Team Workables are excited to officially launch our #FindWork Twitter campaign… Simply tweet #FindWork and your zip code and you’ll be automatically notified of jobs in your area. Suh-weet!

Workables is looking for people across LA (Culver City, Santa Monica, etc, etc) who might be interested - from time to time - to deliver coffee and make a little extra cash…
If this sounds good, the next steps are super easy…
a) Tweet “#findwork in ZipCode” (wherever you may be)
b) You’re done… We’ll notify you when jobs are available! Though you can always check out Workables.com for more jobs, more details, a funny video, etc.
